St. Leo’s College Kyegobe offers a student life that can be tailored to one’s tastes and preferences. You’ll find a vast number of ways to enjoy yourself, keep busy and make friends at SLECK and in the different houses at the College.

The college has a total of 6 Houses (Nkurumah, Kabalega, Lumumba, Nyerere, Mulengwa & Newton). The houses are named after the great men in History of African independence (Nkurumah, Kabalega, Lumumba, Nyerere), Mulengwa after one of the great Head Teachers that the college has had and Newton after the great Scientist Sir Isaac Newton.

The students are assigned houses of residence on day of admission and the college encourages cooperation at all levels so students share accommodation with the houses having residents from all classes.

To encourage and develop student leadership, each house has a house captain from A-Level and an assistant captain from O-level to run the student affairs management working together with the house master and the school administration.
